OK so the solar Yellow color is wildly popular in the Wrangler. I think it looked awesome on the XJ, so why hasn't Jeep put this color on their other vehicles (including the Patriot)?

I'm personally thinking of painting my plastic cladding and fenders on my ZJ black and repainting the body Yellow. I think it'd look awesome. Although, being born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, I'll always be partial to the Black and Gold, so maybe my mind is tricking me into thinking that it's popular :D

I've been thinking exactly this myself. I think the Patriot would look great in Yellow or Orange. If I get one, my friend and I will probably be airbrushing it to a custome paint scheme.

I have started a letter writing campaign using www.jeep.com or http://www.askdrz.com/ requesting that they bring back Solar Yellow and Amber Fire as colors, to add some excitement to the lineup. At least Jeep usually brings back Solar Yellow pretty promptly with the Wrangler, so hopefully they will get it together and offer the Patriot in it as well.

It may be a few days as I'm really busy at work this week, but I'll see what I can do. I'm curious -- I can't see the Pat looking good in yellow. Orange, maybe. Yellow ... I dunno ...

I think Blue and Silver are more appropriate colors for a Patriot. :-)
