Hey everyone! I have been lurking around reading posts and what not. I actually sell jeep patriots at a dealership in Las Vegas. I find it incredible that some states dont have the patriot in stock where as I have plenty to choose from. I am also going to check with the admins to see if I can make special dealership postings and what not to help everyone out who wants one or maybe help with some tech questions. I really enjoy the patriot ecspecially the manual tranny one! Very comfortable ride excellent fuel economy and wonderful price point for what you get! I will try to help out with questions if admin lets me. For the mean time happy jeeping!:smiley_thumbs_up:

Welcome! It would be good to hear from a dealers perspective. I know a few are lurking :) From what I have seen the Patriots roll off the truck and are sold immediately. My dealer has none. Wrangler Unlimited also cannot be kept in stock.

I don't do that honest crap..lol A spade is a spade..lol Anywho! I understand the concerns mike in regards to the patriot and wrangler unlimited. I have those in stock as well. Plenty of 4x2's and some 4x4's. However, good luck getting a unlimted rubicon! From what I am told the rubicon unlimited is selling faster and better than the camry! Jeep did it very well with the patriot and the new wrangler however fell flat on thier face with the compass! Just ask away on questions and I will pipe in to help if I can. Ohh and clay.. no flames.. I forgot the marshmellows chocolate and graham crackers!

Lawyers car sales people.. ALL the same! What kind of war stories do you want to hear?? I know I have plenty to choose from. I do have a question though for those who do have the patriot. What do you people think?? Positive? Negitive? Overall??

There is a survey floating around here with results running about 9 on a scale of 10. I am 100 positive on mine and have had no problems. Some like InfernoPatriot have had some bugs.

Biggest complaint is the late rollout, slow production rates, and long delivery times.

I have been very critical of the way the heated mirrors on the sticker yet not on the car was handled. I have also found that the entire rollout of the Patriots was botched. The Dec / Jan / Feb production were essentially hand made cars with frequent changes to content.

As for dealers I have no complaints about mine save for the usual internal miscommunications at the dealership. During the waiting period for the Patriots I ended up pre screening and eliminating those dealers that were high pressure with lots of turnover in the sales staff. I personally would rather pay a few hundred dollars more up front to save it later on with better service.

btw: My two hot buttons are when you put "stuff" on the car to jack up the price and the dealer overhead charge. I don't mind showcasing options or accessories as Jeeps are the most accessorized vehicle out there. BUT do not require that a car be sold with thousands of dollars worth of Bling. As for the overhead charge we all know it is a way to increase the margins and still say you are selling the car at invoice.

My feedback anyways!
