Found out on the web... :)
Here is a color PDF of the 2007 Jeep Patriot Fleet brochure (http://www.freefilehosting.org/public/12963/2007_Jeep_Patriot.pdf)
Interesting info... :D

I'm curious to see what the marine blue looks like in person, it's also a color option for the compass. It looks like a very different type of blue for jeeps, I'm excited!

Here is a 6 page extract (http://www.freefilehosting.org/public/13034/2007_Jeep_Patriot-extract.pdf) from the larger fleet brochure.

Thanks much for this!
I see that it confirms the 1,000lb towing capacity for many of the Patriot trim levels.
Terriby disappointing as it competes with vehicles offering 1,500-3,500lb capacities.
I could deal with the cheap interior, I could deal with the FWD/AWD options.
But I really thought that this thing could at least tow a tent trailer.
I still love it, and I'll still take a long look at it when it arrives, but it looks like I may be back to my earlier choice of a Suzuki Grand Vitara.
At least Jeep and Suzuki got the styling right. Any of you seen the spy photos of the 2007 Honda CR-V? OMG....it's absolutely hideous.

Did I miss something, but I thought it said 2,000 lbs. when properly equipped.

It does say 2,000 max. My guess is that the FDII package (because of it's higher torque) is the one capable of 2000 lbs.
Or are they implying that the engine can only handle towing 2000 lbs with a stronger aftermarket hitch?

The whole "when properly equipped" sounds like a legal C.Y.A. term.
It might be just the difference between the transmission options (since the engines are the same) or the diff. between the 2wd and the 4wd models.
Awesome find pdxbubba! I'll throw them up on our server in case the link goes dead.

Every one of the brochures - including those on the Patriot and the Compass have those two colors missing... I don't know if the exact color isn't set at the time the PDFs were made or what.

I'm not a photoshop god, but www.jeep.com provides pictures that allow you to select the available colour options. On the left side of Jeeps home page select '07 Patriot, then photo gallery, then 360 degree view. You should then be able to select what colour you want to view the vehicle in.
