already have it... unfortunately since so few people use it, pretty much all of us have only one block!

When i first got on there I liked that, I though we should replicate that somehow.

I see most have a green dot and they accumulate to the right. If your reputation gets real bad do the dots go red and accumulate to the left? ;)

The only problem with rankings and rep points are that they encourage posts with no substance, or turns forums in to popularity contests. Most reputable forums have no rep points enabled at all, and rankings are disabled.

You can see how many "rep points" you have by looking in your User CP.

We have 11 levels of positive reputation rankings, 3 levels in the negative, and one for zero points. I'd gladly hear some suggestions for new names. The ones we currently have are a bit drab.

I'm pretty sure there are posts with no substance occurring with or without rankings, I'd like to think most of us are mature enough to not worry about popularity contests here and for rep points, you have to be awarded one by another member.
My suggestion is for the rep points to be displayed, so maybe there is more awareness about it.
Its all just a little fun and something different :)

Oh, and one more thing, rep points/rankings might in fact encourage MORE substance to posts to an extent.
The more substance/knowledge/effort on a post, you might be awarded more rep points? therefore, more effort on substance.

There isn't anything in the software that allows me to make that change as it stands right now. DMAG would have to toy around with it to make it happen. All I can do is change the reputation titles and the amount of points needed to reach that title.

Tried it... I can't find anything that lets me make the change. Maybe its a vb add on that we don't have.

I'm open to suggestions. I'll look into seeing what can be done to make it more prominent. I can change the green dots to something else (but they cannot be much bigger then the current images). Little Jeeps?
