Hi:
Just bought a Patriot (sport, metallic blue) and have never been part of a forum before, so I am a little uninitiated.
However, I do have a question concerning engine maintenance. Where should this be posted? (I'm guessing under the maintenance section, but again, being brand new to this, I do not wish to be incorrect.
Thanks in advance.:)

Just watch out for Big Duke, who will be on here in a minute asking for pictures. Welcome to the boards, and the engine/drivetrain forum may be where your question might go?

Welcome aboard and enjoy! I've been putting under general (unless it is a specific repair or problem) and let the moderators sort it out. If it is about oil changes then you need to put in in the theological section.

Wait a minute!?! Where is Big Duke? Gee, I hope he's not hurt or something. It's not like him to ignore a picture-less thread like this. I hope he's okay. :D

Again congrats! And feel free to ask any questions you have... The guys here are pretty easy going (compared to some other Jeep sites) so they can bring you up to speed if you need guidance

My local dealer FINALLY has a Patriot on the lot. Its a 2wd, which surprises me as 4wd's are the norm in this part of the country. Now I gotta take it for a test drive.
