I had them on my wrangler. I ordered them from Quadratec.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I don't see the benefit of having them on a Patriot. Especially for the price.
On the Wrangler they are good incase of a sudden downpour. just my 2cents.

no you are right for general stuff the leather and YES should be more than good but I have plans to go up in the mountains in the snow and mud and what happened with my explorer with leather was the snow and crap off the road caused my leather to harden and crack plus the road grime/mud ended up scratching the hell out of it.
Note, I was covered when I got in the explorer and prolly will be the same in the Jeep. Now I was not thinking of using the covers except when I went up the Hill but was looking for some that would protect better than the crap they sell at big box stores and Autozone.
Jus have never seen these so was hoping someone could give me a duribility report Rictus58 did you like how they worked on your wrangler?
Thanks.

They held up pretty well. They were still in moderately good condition when I got rid of the Wrangler in 2000. They had some frayed edges, but they got quite a bit of abuse. The stitching held up well. If you plan for some rough times with your patriot, they could serve some purpose. My opinion is that $400 is a bit much for these covers. Part of what you are paying for is the jeep logo. In a few more months, there might be more/cheaper option for the same type of seat covers. Of course, is price isn't a factor, go ahead. I'm sure you'll enjoy them and they will save your leather in the long run.
On a side note, we used to have a BMW with leather seats, using leather conditioner and cleaner really helped to keep the seats in decent condition.

thanks for the report....
yea I am hoping to find a cheaper set of the same type minus the jeep logo but just in case winter comes and I am headed for higher ground I wanted to be prepared.
Yea the leather conditioner and such helped bring the explorer seats back to livable but you can still see the gashes and markes left behind from the gunk that I was covered in. want to avoid that in the pat if possible. but I agree $400 is a bit expensive heres to hoping they come out with a few different sets maybe a front seat only set for $175 that I would go for right now.

How about the faux leather (vinyl) option. I know this material has many different grades, some are like lambskin, while others feel like sand paper. Anyone have this option?

Does anyone know if these will work with seats that have the supplemental front seat side airbags (CJ1)? I thought maybe they would have the side velcroed or something?
Thanks.

I had Wet Okole's in my last convertible and they were great. They held up well and did a great job protecting the seats, but they did fade a bit. I just checked their site and they don't have any listed for the Patriot, but I think they will usually make them if they can get their hands on a test vehicle. You are both in Cali so it might be worth a shot.
