So I ordered my Patriot about two weeks ago, and I have not yet been assigned a VIN. I'd just like to get a feel for about how long it took other's to get this number.

I'm very excited about the Patriot. It will be my first Jeep.

I ordered about 3.5 weeks ago and still don't have a VIN. Some people on this board got theirs within a week, and some much much longer. There doesn't seem to be a consistent answer.

I ordered March 12th and on the 1st of May my dealer called me that I was assigned the VIN and that I shouldn' be waiting more than couple of weeks.The last time I spoke to him just a couple of days ago he said he hopes that I'll recieve the Patriot sometimes around 9 - 10 of May so it means in few short days.As soon as I get it I'll let you know.Good luck.

The order on mine was received on March 10th. I had the VIN 4 weeks later and my dealer can not tell me when it will build. It seems to be in "D" status limbo at this time.

the dealer told me that normally the plant will make like cars for a week or two. For instance if the plant is making limiteds it might make limiteds for two weeks so if your model is already on the line it make take less than 2 weeks but there may be a different model on the line or even a different car completely. sooooo It will differ for everyone but should be within 1 to 4 weeks :) hope that helps

So a quick update.

It's been about four weeks now and still no VIN# :(

I just want this car SO BAD. The wait is killing me!

ordered ours on 4/3 and got our VIN# on the 17th or so of May with a ship date of 30 may

ordered mine 4/30 got a vin 5/21

ordered on the 5th of May had a VIN on the 15th of May and car is still in D....
