Has anyone been able to find a Pat with the boston speakers and an ipod jack. All the ones i have seen have the upgraded 6disc changer which has no ipod hook up. Someone really dropped the ball on this one. I don't get why the updraded stereos don't have an aux jack. One of the many reasons why american car makers just can't get it right.

yeah I can't stand that...buy the 1400+ Nav system and you dont have a aux plug...jeep needs to get something straight and put the aux jack in something more than the base radio

Look 4 a Ipod stand that you plug right in the 12volt power output. It charge you ipod and transmit over fm, i got one and its realy good, no noise, cheap, and doesnt take much room.

i have one of those fm transmitters. I live in the tristate area and there is literally no fm stations available and it sounds terrible.

just get a pioneer Z2, thats what I'm gonna do!

The next generation radios have an aux jack on all models and a USB port on the Mygig but those are not in the PM/MK yet, maybe 08 or 09 will get those. For the CAN Bus radios the best choice is the 6 disc with an Ipod integration kit. This will allow you to play and control the ipod and should also display all the song information. The base radio has an aux input, but not RDS so it wont display title and artist information even for FM stations.
