i have the complete set of manuals now for 07 Patriots these include all the diesel stuff aswell(theye are the size of 4 phonebooks), i am happy to lend to members in australia, these cost be a few dollars so it is a trust thing as long as the borrower pays for postage etc, for obvious reasons at this stage i will only lend after direct contact etc
cheers

Dont ask me how they did it but some one managed to Down load the whole of the Official Caliber service manual off the Internet. There is a Link to it on Caliber Forumz. I even have a Copy on Disc now!!!

not any major diffrences, mainly a few minor tweaks, you will find the 08 for export is bassicaly the same, as you have a crd there are no changes as far as drivetrain engine etc

I invested in the 08, 6 volume shop manual set. I have not seen it yet. Perhaps it will arrive this week. I had down loaded the shop manual, but none of the electrical stuff worked. 80% of anything I wanted to futz with was electrical. (even on my 25D)

I won't lend it out, but I will be happy to copy and post or send pages, or answer questions as time permits.

i got mine thorugh ebay but noone was willing to sell to aus so i had to get a member here to get them for me etc, ended up costing nearly $300 after frieght etc, hence my offer to lend them out...one word of caution %80 of the stuff requires a starscan and they are over the top in price

I purchased Vol 1 through 4 Factory manuals for 2008. what are the 2 other manuals you have?

I received mine today and like yours only 4 came. It says right on them 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4, 4 of 4. So obviously there are only supposed to be 4.

Too bad I didn't know that sooner. I have a friend flying back to Melbourne today. I'm sure he wouldn't have minded hauling a set of Jeep manuals along, in addition to his baby girl, his wife, their regular luggage, and all the new baby crap they bought while they were here. ;)

You can get scangaugeII for less then you paid for the manuals. Have a look at www.wooders.com.au

what a scanguage cannot do is do a gearbox rebuild;)

 That would not help with rewiring power windows or figuting out how to take the interior apart. The Scangauge is a valuable tool, but not a replacement for a good set of factory printed manuals.

my scangauge comment was meant to be useful information based on the comment that the stargauge was required and expensive
