Think its a good idea to take some armor-all (low gloss) and do the interior plastics?

I don't. I think that Armor-all actually dries out interior plastic as well as make the interior one big dust magnet.

I dont know what you could do for sun protection, but if you want to clean dirt, and grime off of it. Use a Mr clean magic eraser, it gets the little cracks and stuff really good. I use these things all the time to clean just about anything, they are awesome. They work really well to get into the tiny ridges of things.

Does that clean as well? Can it be used on the little squares of leather on our seats:) What type of residue/finish does it leave?

Cleaning, I don't know I used it on my tonneau cover on my Dakota so it got washed with soap and water first. According to the website it can be used on 'finished' leather. Doesn't leave a residue that I can remember and the finish wasn't shine in your face glossy but left a nice clean look.
