On Jeep.com, one can do an Edmonds.com car comparison with the Jeep Compass. Let's take that one step futher.

We know the Patriot's and Compass' specs from Jeep.com. Maybe someone can try and compare the Patriot to one (or more) of Compass' competitiors and post the comparison(s).

I'm pretty positive that the ground clearance for the Patriot with the off-road tires and Freedom 2 package is 9 inches.

I know it says 9 inches in one of the press releases I read; however, in the spec chart, it states 8 inches. Could the FD2 be 9 inches, but with the skid plates installed taking up to 1 inch of ground clearance away?
