Hi everyone

My wife and I own 98 GC 5.9 Lmtd and a 97 toy 4runner. We tow the jeep behind our motorhome when traveling the country. We are currently finishing up our work contract with the Death Valley Natural History Assoc. and will be heading out on the road. I have been looking at the PAT. and it looks great and w/4x4 should get us in and out of the places we enjoy exploring with great MPG to boot. Our concern about the Pat. is that it may not be towable 4 wheels down behind the motorhome because it does not have a transfer case to put the drive train in neutral. Anyone out there know if this is a correct assumption?

I am not familiar with towing so be aware that this may not be correct or what you are looking for...
but, the CVT has a Neutral gear you can shift to...
but with the 5-speed the gearbox feels a little funny to me-
the neutral position where the stick feels a little loose and you can move it easily is not apparent to me with the jeep...

According to the owner's manual, you cannot tow the Patriot without it being entirely on a trailer.
