Anyone notice if you put your hand just below the fan controls on the dash it heats up!!

Hope it doesn't affect the wires behind it...

Common in patriots or other cars?
Never experienced this in any other car.

Common in the Pat.

Its not the cheapest Jeep for no reason.

Our other Jeep does not do it nor our previous Jeep.
Nor our Subaru, Bmw, VW or Ford before them.

Its a Jeep thing.

Our Pat gets so hot its not funny especially on the hot days.

I just hope it doesnt damage anything, cause once the warranty is out, and something goes wrong....

The only thing that craps me off about the dash heating up is that when you keep the heater on for a little while, the centre cover begins to rattle and it isn't the best thing for keeping me calm...I like my silence! lol

Take the bezel off and see where you can apply some sort of cushioning or something.
