Between the vents there are two pairs of vertically orientend toggle swtiches... Are these for the windows? :confused:

Seems like an interesting place to place them if it is. Sort of makes sennse... that way either person in the front seat can open or close any of the windows, while still keeping the doors interchangable between the 2-door and 4-door versions. :cool:

Also, I think it is a safety feature. It reduces the chance a todler would accidently raise the window while he/she has their neck in a vulnerable position.

Looking at this again, I dont think it has anything to do with safety or interchangeability between the models.

It's just convenient that you can take off the front doors, but not the back doors and still be able to control the windows from the drivers seat.

The Liberty also has had centrally located window switches since it's intro. Only difference is that they are located on the center console.
