Two questions those with the skid plates:

1. Does it still allow access for routine tasks like oil filter changes and such, or do you have to remove the front plate for that?

2. There has been news lately about thieves stealing a part (catalytic converter?) from under cars and trucks to sell the metal. Does the rear plate help hide/protect that stuff from easy access?
