Anyone familiar with the Reading Anthracite Coal Company?
Another forum mentioned about being able to wheel there for an annual fee of $100.00 permit to access the property and go as often as you like sun up to sun down.

Never been there but I've heard the same as you about wheelin for a 100 bucks unlimited. I suggest you contact them directly about it for a permit.

If I can manage some time I will, still trying to get back to the Pine Barrons.

I'd stay away from the Pine Barrens in a Patriot... most of the trails I've been in back there wouldn't take to stock vehicles very well.

As for parks in PA, Rausch Creek is usually the go-to for most people.

I haven't been there yet, but supposedly they have trails for all skill levels and vehicle types.

EDIT: Everything I'm reading only says its fair game for ATVs.

The club I belong to in NJ goes to raucsh once a month, though I've always worked on the weekends so I haven't been able to go, however one of the guys thought the easiest trail would still be too much for the Pat, though like I said haven't been out there yet to see for myself.
I've been to the Pine Barrons when they had the clean up ride and got through there with no problems. The trail was a real easy one and I was hoping to do a little more with someone who knew the trails a bit better that may be able to pick a trail that would be a good workout.

Most of the folks have mods to thier jeeps and I'm the only Pat there now, but seem like a good bunch of folks.

Some places require you have recovery hooks on the vehicle. So us FDI guys may be SOL until we put something on. Paragon used to have that requirement.

Rausch creek requires them as well. I've actually been bidding on sets on ebay for my Grand Cherokee.
