This wiring was done on a 2008 Jeep Patriot with an automatic transmission. Alarm/Remote start system used was a Viper 5701 with a Bypasskits XK532 (http://www.bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=XK532). I used the D2D (part number XKD2D65 http://www.drdetailshop.com/XKDTD65.htm) wire to link the two systems to minimize and simplify connections and installation. I highly recommend the use of the XK532 with the D2D wire. If you do not use the D2D wire more connections could be possible to make things work correctly. Connections for alarm only are between the +'s and remote start only are between the *'s.

Note 1- You must diode isolate all 4 doors. To do so go here (http://www.the12volt.com/diodes/diodes.asp) and follow the "isolating negative doors diagram." You will need a total of 4 diodes, one for each door.
