Anyone considering getting a front end cover for the Patriot. We live in the middle of the Colorado Rockies and I've already got three good sized nicks in the paint on the front end of my baby. I know she's going to get beat up in the mountains, but I'd like to keep it in as good of condition as I possibly can for a while.
I'm not liking the price of the cover from MOPAR at $209, found it at www.partsformyjeep.com at $176 but not to mention the $19 shipping charge. Anyone have a good source for something like this? Thanks

I heard years ago, they can trap water underneath them ..unsure if thats a good thing. I have also seen someone take one off, and all along the edges was dirt and filth, and maple keys....YUCK!!!

We had the hood bra on our 01 impala and I took it off all the time to wash and wax it. Still could see where it was on the hood when we traded it in! Will never buy one again!

IMHO putting a "bra" on a car makes no sense. There are lots of reasons not to...
BTW, in England they call this a "mask" and that makes a lot more sense to me.
My car has "headlights" but, um, they are more its eyes than its...

Has anyone gotten one of those "clear bras" for their Patriot? I've seen them on Nissan Zs and have heard good things about them...

my neighbor has one on his corevette and it looks great but for 700 bucks it is pricey. and to me it all depneds on who makes teh bra le bra is the worst company colgan custom make a good bra and the mopar one is really good and as you will see in my pics i am not using the hood piece as i have the deflector on it from jeep anyhow opioins vary i like how it fits and looks and i dont use it all the time and when it rains if it was one i take it right off so no water gets in there. see ya maintainence is a key to keeping thinsg pretty.

I agree with many of the comments posted. A bra is OK for a women, not so good for your Patriot. Perhaps consider the plastic Jeep stone shield for the hood.

Maybe we can get Kramer and Frank Costanza to develop a manziere (spelling) or bro to fit the Patriot?

Well, that settles it. I am getting a bra and clear heels for my Patriot as a Festivus gift. He's been good to me and a new bra is the least I can do.

I have a clear bra on mine, you can't see it at all, and it does very well protecting the front.
