: 1st SUV: Patriot?
TGFive 04-09-2007, 10:56 PM Hi All!
My 1st post, Ive never had an SUV but this one seems small enough for a crosssover guy like me.
I like the green, silver, black but I'm not decided yet...What I really want is the Patriot down below, I guess that one is a concept version? Not only do I like the color and front fender but what I really like is the rims, can these rims be had?

corsairkid 04-09-2007, 11:15 PM lol all those options you like are after market i think so you will have to invest some serious $$ in order to get those, while also possible voiding the warranty
TGFive 04-09-2007, 11:27 PM Are they Aftermarket? or is it all concept stuff
corsairkid 04-09-2007, 11:30 PM it could be concept but you could probly get that stuff aftermarket in about a year. a paint job isnt that tough, and im sure they will start making wheels for the pat pretty soon
srothfuss 04-10-2007, 07:40 AM The roof rack is sort of a concept. In the Patriot Catalog (it's around this site somewhere) they have a similar rack with the two extra lights on it.
The Grille is just painted probably so your local body shop could do that for pretty cheap if you reallly wanted it
The Orange color is not offered at this moment (I don't know if it will be in the future - I'm not that cool)
The rims look like they came off a Rubicon. But the Rubicon is RWD so the offsets would be all messed up, hence they might be custom???
Oh yeah, welcome to the boards
TGFive 04-10-2007, 06:09 PM Thanks for the great info, I ve been thinking that a green pat would look nice with some dark gray or black rims...I don't like tricked out cars but I think that would be a nice subtle touch, thanks again!

I'm curious about where to find the roof rack if you have any better suggestions. Other than that, the jeep also has a custom lift kit, probably about 2.5 inches (also probably the hardest part of that set up to track down/custom make) based on the reported ground clearance and 31" tires. Also, as already mentioned, there is a custom bumper which wont have anything similar available aftermarket for at least another year (or thats my best guess) or if you have a really really really good shop in the area someone MIGHT make you a custom bumper but thats not likely to happen and if they do make the bumper its likely to be expensive (but send me a PM if you find someone to make it for you, I'd love them to make me one too!)
Belveder 04-10-2007, 10:46 PM Well, I would like Marylin Monroe to be my co pilot in the Patriot and they don't make them that way so I decided to got for the stock Patriot and it still looks very fine to me.

Really? Because my local dealer offered the marilyn co-pilot (package36-24-36) as an add-on along with the extended warranty, GAP insurance, and extra alarm system.
;) :D
