corsairkid 04-08-2007, 10:55 AM I test drove a patriot yesterday and at the end I sat in the back seat. The test drive vehicle only had the "40" portion of the back seat up and it was very uncomfortable. It felt like there was something jabbing me in my lower back. Also, when i tried to put up the "60" portion of the back seat it would not go up all the way. Im not sure if you have to put up the bigger seat first or what but is anyone else experiencing this same problem? thanks AZCycle 04-09-2007, 05:55 PM The rear seats are pretty stiff for sure, but they DO lean back. If you look closely you can see a little "loop" sticking out near the bottom of the seatbacks. If you pull on these, it allows the seats to recline slightly and it also allows the seat to come back to 90 degrees after being lifted from the flat state.
