Yuppers, JeepPatriot.com is looking for a few good men/women to help in moderating and adding content to the site.

So who are we looking for?

Well, previous experience in moderating a web forum would be helpful, but not necessarily required. Also, we'd like to open this up (at first) to those who have already purchased a Patriot (that way we know you'll stick around! :D )

Moderating duties would include:

Your job is to assist the forum Administrator/s. Your main duties are listed below:

Move, close, merge, split, delete and edit threads when appropriate.
Alert the Admin/s to inappropriate posts and/or members who chronically break the Rules.
Help mediate any arguments between members and be available to answer general questions from them.
Keep conversations flowing in your assigned forum.

In order to be a volunteer moderator, you need to be a daily visitor to the message board. You should be reliable and willing to mediate arguments without bias.

A thick skin helps too. ;)

So, if you think you can handle everything above (and more!) then let us know. Right now, two mods would probably cover our needs, but we may take on more now or a bit later on down the road as we grow.

I don't quallify... (Stinking LIBERTY!)

If you don't get too many respondants, I can volunteer my services if required. A "tossing of my name into the hat" so to speak.

It's OK... I totally understand why the preference should go to someone who already owns an MK. My feelings wouldn't be hurt - I'm just here waiting to get a call from my dealer.

I could possibly throw my hat in the ring. Not only am I a Patriot owner, but I also own/admin a message board (along with my dear wife) with 2000 members - all women! So in terms of thick skin, ours has calloused somewhat over the past year :)
