Had my jeep for a few months now and haven't driven more than 40 mins with her till last weekend. Headed out to Boulder Oaks camp site in Cleveland National Forrest in Southern California. All in all it took about an hour to an hour and a half driving from North County San Diego.

This was the first trip taken in the Jeep that was longer than an hour and also the first time using a GoPro while driving. I put together the video below for fun and a personal learning experience. Still playing around with iMovie and all it has got to offer.

If anyone has recommendations for nice drives/camp grounds in the socal area please share as I'm ready to break out and explore.

Very cool DMurph.

I can write an essay on places to explore in the Southwest including my hometown of San Diego.

1. You should get Google Earth pro, turn on the pictures feature and explore away.

2. Google search 'scenic drives' in your area

& 3. check out http://freecampsites.net/ to find free campsites around your area.

There are many waterfalls to visit in SoCal,
check out this website; http://www.world-of-waterfalls.com/california-southern-california.html

Are you into canyons and weird rock formations?
Look up things to do in Borrego.

Sand Dunes? Check out the Algodones Sand Dunes in Imperial County.

Mountains? Mt. Laguna, Idyllwild, Lake Arrowhead, Topanga, etc. etc.

I can go on and on.

Keep the vids and experiences coming, safe travels.
