Mike's '16 Patriot

Greetings all!

Bought a Patriot today, figured i'd start a build thread as progress is made.

For starters, my 'Riot is a 2016 Sport model. It is pretty basic, having manual mirrors, windows, and entry. All it has is FD2 and A/C.
When I got it home:

My current plans for it are:
RRO lift
RRO supersliders
RRO winch mount w/ Warn VR8000
RRO roof rack with:
  • spare tire mount
  • hi-lift mount
Kumho AT51 tires (235/65R17)
VIAIR 12V compressor
CB radio (not sure where i'm going to put it..)
AntennaX 13" radio antenna
Gibson exhaust
K&N air intake
Weathertech cargo liner

It kind of looks like mine, only you have better stock rims.

Congrats, and welcome!

I installed a Gibson catback and the muffler hit the tow hitch so I removed it and installed a Hushpower by flowmaster that sounds real good. Less expensive too. It's 18" long 5" wide and 4" thick.

I may look into it! My Jeep doesn't have a tow hitch on it and probably won't ever, so that's not too big of a concern. I have my 2500HD for towing. But I do like the compactness as opposed to the OE suitcase and even the aftermarket stuff.

Went offroading today. Ran Bitter Springs Backcountry Byway. The trail was rated 4/8 in difficulty. The Patriot made it through no problems.

RRO supersliders
RRO bumper pushbar
Yokohama tires (225/60R17)
Viair compressor
CB radio
13" radio antenna
Gibson exhaust
K&N intake

Cool thing happened today. Was at the drive through getting dinner, and there were 3 trail-rated Patriots in a row. A grey one, mine, and a white one. While Patriots are fairly common in Vegas, 4x4s are rare. Trail rated ones are almost mythical in terms of rarity
