2012 Patroit Lat

So, I had a "00" XJ, LOVED IT!! Took it off road all the time.. Sold it, thought I was done with the off road thing, but still a big fan of Jeep, so I picked up the 2012 Pat latitude.
I'm realizing I need to get off road again. Nothing extreme, but I'm not too confident about the pat yet.
So I'm new here. Looking for some advice.
I saw Rocky Rd has a 2+" lift, I haven't found any bull bars I care for too much, so I'm going with the tow hooks, and a hitch in the back.
Can anyone tell me, is this patriot going to handle Silver lake sand Dune ok? And is there anyway to get a little more power out of it?

Hi there, welcome aboard!

For recovery methods those are good options.

Can't say I've taken my Pat on dunes before, but do so on the beach all the time and it's great, even when really soft.

I think Rosso takes his on dunes from pics I think I've seen so he would be able to tell you about that.

Unfortunately, there the engines are tuned for economy and no power gains available.

Good luck with your Pat!
