Got bored and messed around a little bit.

doesn't look terrible but can't seem to allow myself to say it looks great either.

What do you guys think.

hmmm, different. Obviously it looks out of place having a 24+ Y.O. grille on it, but its still cool to see these things. Can you make the grille flat, instead of slanted. Just straight up and down. I bet if it was color-matched it would look alright.

I also tried to salvage the Compatriot, but I don't think it's possible. The body lines just don't match up, and my Photoshop skills are abysmal.

Haa thats cool. Diggin the xj grille. Just paint it to match and it would look pretty alright.

You should try a grill from the last gen XJ and post that pic on jeep forum in the XJ section
