So, I plugged in my battery blanket last night. The Patriot did start better this morning. It's been super cold at night here. About 1 degree or below. My Patriot is parked in my garage and it usually doesn't get below 20 degrees. I keep a small heater on a timer. I didn't plug it in for a few of the cold nights and payed attention during start up. When I plugged in the battery blanket it seemed to turn over better. I bet the battery blanket would be great for those who park their Patriot outside. I will be ordering my block heater hopefully this week.

What have you done to your Patriot today?

Got the battery blanket plugged in. I really like the NOCO plug I installed. No dangling cords hanging from the grill. The battery blanket gets pretty warm. I think it warms the engine bay up a little bit.

I bought a 12 volt battery blanket. I tried it last night, but now my battery is dead. Any advice?

Wow, sorry to hear that. I doubt the battery blanket killed it. Just an odd coincidence. Was your battery old? Did any water seep out? Are there any cracks in the battery? If you find anything keep us updated.

Drove it to/from work all weekend during our latest round of winter weather. FWD but handled the conditions like a champ.
