Aftermarket sunroof = no leaks.
Haven't noticed anything else.

Although I park under a carport, only have 2500 miles and we are experiencing a drought.
I do use the laser car wash, and have been dry on the other end of it.

I am very suprised and saddened at the # who are having problems.
This must be the 'flappen hood' of 2008.
Now we just need a youtube video.

No leaks...had it since April/07...FDII...I did get the sirus radio w/mine...I didn't know if there is a wire that goes from this antennae through the roof, following the headliner to the front of the Jeep and into the radio…Any chance this has a bad seal on some of these?

The poll suggests that about 1 out of 10 owner get water seepage of some kind. That sounds high, but there are only 63 votes so far. We need a few hundred more votes to get a more accurate picture.

My Patriot goes in for the day tomorrow so hopefully I'll find something out as to why my Patriot started leaking after 6 months of being perfectly fine...

They blamed it on some pinched seals the first time and replaced them but apparently not properly or that wasn't the biggest problem. I'll be giving them hell when I take it there tomorrow night. Last time they left a few fingerprints on the headliner that thankfully wiped right off... none of that crap this time.

The dealership just called and said that the sunroof drain tubes were blocked, so they'll have to take off the headliner and replace/fix them, so I'll probably get it back in about 4hrs.

Yeah... sounds about the same as what they told me. Hopefully yours stay "clean" a little longer than mine did.

Got the Jeep back, here's an excerpt from the sheet that was given to me when I picked it up:
Quote:
Found bulletin for repairing sunroof drain tubes. Remove headliner assembly and all 4 drain tubes. Repair as per TSB #23-043-06.
Anyhow it says they tested it and it didn't leak so I guess I'll believe that the fix has worked unless I get another cold shower in the middle of winter.

Don't forget, this poll is for "non-leakers" as well.

I keep finding a film of water when I roll my windows up after having them down. Anybody had this problem or got an idea if it is normal?

There's a problem with the accuracy of the poll. 3.8% of respondents have had a leak in the sunroof, but we don't know how many respondents have or don't have a sunroof. It would be helpful to know what percentage of sunroofs leak.

Agreed. I was thinking the same exact thing.

However, as it stands, the numbers are pretty scary to me.
