My dealer is very good regarding costs. My other services have been very low in cost.
Had it not been for trying to maintain the lifetime warranty obligation I wouldn't have had it done. Seriously. But, you never know, I guess.
It bothered me that they had to open up the trans to do the work. They didn't like it, either. It's the first one they've done. It took them two hours and I was charged for one hour labor. When it's factory sealed I like it to stay that way. Had they been able to do the work by the typical method (the service manager explained it to me) it would have cost about 150.00. Again, it's all about the trans fluid. The service manager was floored at the cost. Even apologized for it.
