Very sad. If anyone from his family might ever read this thread, my sympathy to you. If he was half as nice in real life as he was on this forum, he must have been a wonderful husband, father, brother and son. May God give you comfort.
Dixie was a leading poster on our site; seems a week didn't go by that we weren't posting on the same thread. I hadn't seen any posts from him in a while but I just figured maybe we were not on the same threads. Then I got the bad news yesterday or the day before. Life seems so short!
aroundincircles messaged me a few weeks ago, thought he'd heard something about poor dixie's demise, but wasn't sure. Sad to see him go. Too bad I never got the chance to go take the "dixie driveway challenge".....would have been nice to meet him in person. Maybe we should dedicate one of our next runs to him.
I've known dixidawg since 2008 when I joined. He always had great stuff to say and he always liked my posts of off roading pics and videos, even said we should meet up one day. Sad to hear he has passed.
Sorry to hear of his passing. Hadn't heard anything from him in a while, figured he was busy with his place at the top of the snowmobile trails in Pa. Will miss his input to the forum on various topics.
