07 Pat ESP BAS TC lights after ball joint replacemt

Had my ball joints replaced on my 07 Patriot with no pre-existing issues.
Mechanic returned it with ESP BAS & TC lights on, and the steering wheel
off center (approx 10 deg to the left).
What did he do wrong ?
He said I needed to get an alignment. (not done at his garage)
Should the alignment/straight steering wheel clear the alarms?

Welcome!
To answer your question, it sounds to me like the mech. might have un-plugged or broke an ABS sensor wire......

An alignment should always be done or checked after ball joint replacements.
Get it done if nothing else to center the steering wheel and give piece of mind.

I could be wrong but it seems like 10 degs. off center steering wheel seems like a lot with just replacing ball joints unless there's some other worn suspension part. Don't know that for sure, never changed joints on a Pat.

Were the hubs also replaced? If so, some after market hubs have issues with ABS sensors/connectors.

I agree with phucker, the ABS sensors would be the first place i'd look.
Make sure the ABS cable connectors are intact on both wheels.
