Water Dripping From Center Of Muffler!

I just started my Patriot to let it warm up in the garage and noticed water dripping from the center of the muffler. Is it designed that way or is something wrong?

First off might wanna be careful starting the car on the garage second ya it's just condensation because its hot in the muffler and cold outside, don't worry about it!

Both garage doors open!😲 Looked like a hole was designed in middle of muffler.

Got a pic of it?

Id say it was a weep hole for condensation, as previously mentioned.

Pretty normal and nothing to worry about. Yeah that hole is for condensation or any water got to the muffler.

Garage
Ditto re: condensation. Ever notice how much steam comes out of your (or any) exhaust pipe when the engine is cold? You may even see water dripping from the end of your tailpipe while its warming up. Once the exhaust system is thoroughly warm it goes away. If that water just laid in there it would rust out a muffler in no time. Before stainless steel exhaust pipes you'd only get 3-4 years out of an exhaust system before you started replacing parts.
