Did you install those tow hooks yourself of were they factory option?

I just picked up my used 2015 Patriot and want to install a pair.

My fascia has these cross pieces in the tow hook holes which I will have to remove.

I fabricated them and installed them. I cut out the plastic and installed some trim around the openings. There is a member on here that makes them and sells them. But I had time and I can fabricate stuff. Just let me know if you need any more detailed info and I will do my best to help.

I've seen the ones you are talking about and the video he made too.

I should contact him about compatibility with a 2015 before I try and order a pair from him.

Did you use the flexible body trim molding around the holes by chance?

Thanks for the info.

Mine is a 2015 High Altitude. His design works fine. Actually I used 3/16" rubber hose and cut a slit in it , it forms around the curves much easier.

Yes, his videos are really good and very informative. His products seem to be very high quality. He also has light mounts and a rear tow/recovery hook that look awesome!

This is the guy he is speaking of. Links to his videos are on his webpage.

Also, if you search the forums, there are instructions on how to build these items on your own, if you are handy enough to do it of course. It might be cheaper if you can source the metal and have the free time to fabricate it.

All model years are compatible with his and the OEM style towhooks. The biggest difference is Pre-2011 models have less-obvious areas to cut when it comes to trimming plastics (no "fake vent" area to hack out,) so you would have to measure the locations if you are a Gen1 MK.
