I know that if you remove the plastic wheel well liner you can get to the signal bulbs but it is a real pain. There might be a way to pop out the whole assembly from the outside but I couldn't figure it out.

Hopefully somebody knows of an easier way.

BULB

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front wheel and tire on the same side of the vehicle as the park/turn signal lamp being serviced. (Refer to 22 - TIRES/WHEELS - REMOVAL).
4. Remove the three screws (1) that secure the outboard side of the front wheel house splash shield (4) to the front fascia (2).
5. Remove the push pin fastener (3) that secures the inboard side of the splash shield to the front end sheet metal.
6. Remove the two push pin fasteners that secure the forward edge of the splash shield to the front fascia closure panel.
7. Fold the front of the splash shield rearward far enough to access the back of the front fascia.

8. From behind the front fascia (3) disconnect the engine compartment wire harness connector (2) from the park/turn signal bulb socket (1) connector receptacle.
9. Firmly grasp the bulb socket on the back of the park turn signal lamp housing (4) and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
10. Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
11. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.

Hmm seems a lot of stuff to do just to change the bulb. Mind you a dealer will probably bill an hour for that !!

The Navy used to have a carrier based aircraft that you had to jack up and remove the landing gear in order to change an instrument panel light bulb.
