Question Dashboard Lights - am I going mad???

Hey all,

Had the Jeep for about a month now and I am loving every minute of it. But I've got a question...

Coming home this evening, the rain was pretty heavy so I had my lights on. I glanced at the dash at one point and couldn't see the little light that tells you that your lights are on. Now I know my full beam light shows up on the dash (in blue), but there was nothing to indicate that headlights were on - although they definitely were...

I'm right in thinking that this just isn't correct, yes? I should have a little green light on the dash, indicating that my lights were on? Could this just be something as simple as a fuse? Because now I'm questioning whether the light was ever there in the first place, and insanity beckons...

Any thoughts?

High beam- blue indicator
Fog lights- Green indicator looks like #D
Regular headlights, no indicator other than the panel gauges would be lit.

NO INCUMBENTS!

It took me a while to work out that you can adjust the dash lights brightness using the rotary control on the light stalk. You can set this so that the dash lights dim when the lights are on in daylight.

Thanks guys. Consensus seems to be that there's no light for normal driving lights, so my sanity is no longer in question. For now...
Cheers!

Also, because paulg is from Scotland and therefore probably has export model:
Rear fog lights - Orange indicator, looks like the green one but other way around

I don't know if any car has a indicator for regular low beams(?)

Had a look at the manual tonight (UK Manual, page 98) and I can confirm that there is definitely not an indicator for low beam. Just seems strange to me, as any car I've driven always had this indicator. However, I'm sure I can live without it! There are more important things to fret about, eh?
