BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2

Hey guys it is me again looking for people who have or have had these tires, some questions, I hope you can chime in. For the questions below the assumption is that the Patriot has no lift and there is no rubbing at all. I have a 2017 FD2 which I believe has the same clearance than the ones for the previous 3 or 4 years.

1. What is the biggest tire size (R17) that would fit without any modification?

2. What is the biggest tire size (R17) that would fit with wheel spacers? (what is the spacer size?)

3. What is the biggest tire size (R17) that would fit with wheel spacers and the pinch weld mod? (what is the spacer size?)

It is not a test so please feel to answer any of the questions based on your experience with the BFG KO2

Cheers!

Adding something based on other posts in this forum, not necessarily for this tires, I believe 225/65/R17 are safe with no mods or spacers, 235/65/R17 may work with wheel spacers and no pinch weld mod but I am not 100% sure...

And finally based on other post in this forum with spacers and pinch weld mod 245/65/R17 is doable... So for xx/65/17 it seems that this works for patriots with standard suspension :

215 - stock
225 - ok nothing needed
235 - spacers needed
245 - spacers and pinch weld mod needed

As I am getting more information will keep updating this thread... I was looking at the BFG website and these are the sizes available for the KO2 in xx/65/17:

95341 LT225/65R17/D 107 S
52433 LT245/65R17/D 111 S
16681 LT265/65R17/E 120 S
42347 LT275/65R17/E 121 S
48785 LT305/65R17/E 121 R

The last 3 surely won't fit on a Patriot with no lift, so only 2 options here.... 225 that should fit as is with nothing else required and 245 that would require wheel spacers and the pinch weld mod.... has anyone have experience with these tires on a non lifted patriot?

This post is really discouraging....

John's 2015 Patriot

So it is really necessary to upgrade some components to have the KO2 in the Patriot? (I know the answer is no, but what is the downside of not doing it)?

I dont think there is a downside to not doing any of those items he listed. You dont need to do any of that to have KO2s.
Intake and exhaust dont do much of anything on today's cars without a tune (waste of money on a Patriot,) Ive also read a lot of feedback that will recommend the basic copper spark plugs since they have actually had performance issues with upgraded plugs.

Truckin' the bread all over your @$$!
