Knocking or ticking sound?

Hey guys, recently my 2012 patriot has developed a ticking or knocking sound. It only happens at low speeds and tends to also happen more when im not on the gas. The jeep drives fine but i can't figure out what is causing this. It has been below 30 degrees here and it seems to happen more when jeep isn't completely warmed up. Also i think i notice it a lot when taking tight turns at low speeds. 85k miles on it. Any ideas?

Hi Shortyg83,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit your local dealership I'd be happy to follow up with them for you if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know.

Wanted to give everyone the results.
Was a bad cv axle joint. Had it replaced and all is good again.

Hey, Shortyg83 -- how many miles on your Patriot? Are you way up there or is this premature? I'm just curious . . .

That sucks at 85K. Those should not go out until 200K miles. Hopefully just a manufacture defect.
